Satoe Indonesia was formed based on dreams, visons, and initiatives of student from School of Business and Management – Bandung Institute of Technology (SBM-ITB) to give tangible contributions in order to lead our country to become a better and more developed nation in future.

This organization has become a place where youth leaders across Indonesia can actively participates in a strategic philanthropy type of community development. It has already become a mandatory for university student as young generation who will lead this country in the future to share their knowledge, ideas, abilities, strength, and talents in order to develop the potential aspect of society (especially rural society) so that we can all form a developed nation. In the future young generation would not only grow to become a “robot” worker, but they will also grow to become the builder for their country.

Satoe Indonesia believes that independent  stage of one community would not be achieved with social programs that only give material donation without any further action. As we can see, material donation will shrink in a long term without showing a significant result for the development of the society . Satoe Indonesia believes that in order to create a better society we have to implement a “developing” programs, not a “giving” programs so we can create a society that can manage themselves and being independent  on their own in the future without depending on us or other parties.

As a result, we have a high optimism that our community development activities is followed by local community with high enthusiasm and participative respond, in the future it will give them chances to become independent  through the best process. The independence itself will not only become a short term condition, but it will become a sustainable situation. Satoe Indonesia contributes to the society through programs within the field of education, training, self development, society building, leadership and organization, entrepreneurship, health, and social welfare.

In order to achieve these goals, Satoe Indonesia won’t be able to work on their own. High support an dappreciation from every parts of the society has stimulate our desires, motivation, and action to run our projects especially in rural areas. We accept  all of the supportive actions from other parties with high gratitude so that all of us can work hand in hand to bring a brighter future for our country. Just like our fundamental, “Satoe Indonesia, untuk satu Indonesia ku” (“Satoe Indonesia, for unity of our Indonesia”)
