This year we have an opportunity to generate our community development work using Mobil Pintar If during year 2006-2007 Mobil Pintar was concentrated on Cisondari area only, this year we tried to create a twist to give wider opportunity for children on gaining more knowledge and lessons using Mobil Pintar. That is why this year we held a road show of Mobil Pintar across Cisondari, Pelauhan Ratu, Cibiru, and other areas with help and participation of other student organization in Bandung.
Rumah pintar was originally made during the 2006-2007 era. This year, it has developed in to a place where students are not only gaining knowledge through formal education, but also through series of activity which could generate their creativity. We add more computer activities and held an educational movie session where they could learn and still having a lot of fun!
Books and Curriculum Addition
This year we tried to add more and more books to expand the knowledge of Mobil Pintar and Rumah Pintar students. Not only addting more books and educational CD, we also introduce them to new curriculum.
During the 2007-2008 year period, it is obvious that we have to strengthen our programs in order to maintain the sustainability of Rumah Pintar itself. We have determined proper curriculum based on a discussion with the Rumah Pintar administration, so that the curriculum itself would match children's demand and expectation. Also, to strengthen the educational area, we invited an international foreign language teacher, as a part of cooperation with AIESEC, to add an English lesson within the curriculum so that the people could learn.
Tools and Infrastructures Increment
This program is subjected to Celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day to create synergies between stake-holders in the community. It is a joint even between Satoe Indonesia, Local Community, and Local Government. It improved synergies between local community and its government.
Scholarship Programs
We give scholarship to ITB Students who wanted to become tutor at Rumah Pintar. At the end we give Scholarships availability for 16 Student from ITB and 4 more for local students.
Infrastructure Program
We tried to develop infrastructure in 4 areas. We were building Clean water Treatment facility, Mosques, Rehabilitation of Roads.
Health Care Program
We are giving health care program Free Medical Check up and Free Medical Services, this program is subjected to increase Ciwidey villager's awareness on the importance of health.
